Advancing ESG and SDG Initiatives for Sustainable Growth

The Group has decided to further advance initiatives for ESG (Environment, Society, Governance) Management and the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) proposed by the UN, announcing the details for this on April 30, 2021.


In order to promote these initiatives, we have established six key themes and compiled a list of measures, performance indicators and target values for each theme based on our corporate philosophy, the MLC2030 Vision, the basic policies of the Management Plan (2019-2021), and our CSR activities to date.

Six Key Themes

PT. Mitsubishi Logistics Indonesia's ESG and SDG initiatives focus on six themes: safety, environment, innovation, partnerships, employee development, and human rights compliance, emphasizing sustainable growth.

Safety, security, disaster response

We will introduce not only "safety and security," which is the starting point of what the Group aims to be, but also initiatives for "disaster response" to guard the intensification of such events in recent years.

Environmental Initiatives

We will introduce "Environmental initiatives" that include initiatives with equipment and other hardware, as well as software initiatives that contribute to reducing our environmental load.

Cutting-edge technology, innovation

We will introduce initiatives for "cutting-edge technology and innovation," including the sophistication, automation, and labor-saving of services as well as standardization and platformization.

Partnership

We will introduce "partnership" initiatives such as co-creation with customers and partners to promote DX (Digital Transformation) and cooperation with other partners.

Human resource development, improving employee satisfaction

We will introduce initiatives for "Human resource development, improving employee satisfaction" aimed at creating systems that enable a variety of workstyles, and environments that support work-life balance.

Compliance, human rights, gender

We will introduce initiatives for "compliance, human rights, and gender," which are fundamental to our business activities.
