1887

Tokyo Warehouse Founded


Tokyo Warehouse Limited Company was founded in Japan, marking the beginning of what would eventually become Mitsubishi Logistics Corporation. This establishment was part of the Mitsubishi Companies, catering to the growing demand for organized storage and transportation solutions in Tokyo.

1918

Renaming to Mitsubishi Warehouse Co., Ltd.


The company was renamed Mitsubishi Warehouse Co., Ltd., reflecting its evolution into a full-fledged logistics entity under the Mitsubishi umbrella, expanding services to meet the logistics needs of a growing industrial and commercial economy in Japan.

1993

First Warehouse Established in Tangerang, Indonesia


PT. Mitsubishi Logistics Indonesia launched its first warehouse in Indonesia, located in the Tangerang Region at Jalan Raya Curug KM. 3 No. 110, Desa Cukanggalih, Kecamatan Curug, Kabupaten Tangerang, Banten Province. With a storage area of 8,000 m², this facility was strategically placed to serve the distribution network of Jakarta’s western regions. Over time, it became a critical logistics hub, linking the Cilegon and Merak industrial areas with Greater Jakarta and eastern regions, enabling smooth supply chain operations across multiple industrial zones.

1996

Expansion in Tangerang & Rebranding as Mitsubishi Logistics Corp.


To increase distribution capacity, PT. Mitsubishi Logistics Indonesia constructed its second warehouse in the Tangerang region, adjacent to the first warehouse. This new 5,000 m² facility enabled the company to meet Indonesia’s growing demand for efficient logistics services. In the same year, Mitsubishi Warehouse Co., Ltd. officially rebranded as Mitsubishi Logistics Corporation, embracing a more globalized approach to logistics with a focus on diversified, value-added solutions. This rebranding underscored Mitsubishi’s commitment to leading innovations in logistics worldwide.

2013

Establishment of PT Dia-Jaya Forwarding Indonesia


PT. Dia-Jaya Forwarding Indonesia, a subsidiary of PT. Mitsubishi Logistics Indonesia, was established to provide freight forwarding services. This subsidiary specialized in customs clearance, transportation, and handling of export and import operations. With PT. Dia-Jaya Forwarding Indonesia, the company expanded its capabilities to include international freight and customs solutions, enhancing the overall service portfolio and offering seamless end-to-end logistics support.

2017

Launch of MM2100 Distribution Center in Bekasi


Continuing its expansion in Indonesia, PT. Mitsubishi Logistics Indonesia launched the MM2100 Distribution Center in Bekasi at Jalan Jawa Blok G, Kawasan Industri MM2100, Desa Gandamekar, Kecamatan Cikarang Barat, Kabupaten Bekasi, West Java Province. This 15,000 m² facility was designed to store and distribute food and pharmaceutical products, featuring four temperature zones for different types of goods. Additionally, the distribution center included four central kitchens for food processing and preparation, as well as spacious offices and multi-purpose areas, cementing PT. Mitsubishi Logistics Indonesia role as a leader in advanced, temperature-controlled storage solutions in Indonesia.

2024

Cold Chain Transportation Launched


In response to growing demand for cold chain logistics, PT. Mitsubishi Logistics Indonesia expanded its transportation services with a focus on Cold Chain Transportation. This addition supported the efficient and safe transportation of food and pharmaceutical products, reinforcing the company’s commitment to integrated logistics solutions and ensuring high-quality, temperature-controlled logistics from warehouse to final destination.
